| Toddler Dies during Swimming Pool Accident |

This week in Florida, it is reported that a toddler drowned while inside of his family swimming pool. The toddler died just a week before his second birthday in Renton.
According to the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office, Maxwell Spears was reported as being unresponsive after his grandfather pulled him out of the pool on Thursday. Police say that the accident occurred in an above ground pool. However, they believe that Spears may have walked straight into it on a deck connecting the pool to the home.
During the time of the swimming pool accident, Maxwell's father and grandfather were doing chores while watching him and another child. When the grandfather returned from the laundry room, he found a backdoor open and his grandson in the pool.
The father tried to perform CPR until an ambulance arrived and Maxwell later succumbed to his injuries.
