Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fatal Dog Attack

A Concord, California man has pleaded not guilty to felony charges in a case where his pitbulls reportedly mauled his young step-grandson to death.
According to reports, Steven Hayashi pleaded not guilty to child abuse or neglect and owning a mischievous animal causing death. He is currently released on a $120,000 bond that was posted.
Reports are that the dogs had killed a total of three family pets in the home before they attacked and killed the young boy. All the dogs have since been euthanized.
